Chad Mccumbee

Chad McCumbee, born on October 15, 1984, is a versatile American racing driver and team owner with a career spanning various disciplines of motorsports. McCumbee's journey began in go-karts at age ten, amassing over 100 victories in World Karting Association Dirt Series events between 1995 and 2000. He quickly transitioned to stock cars, becoming the Allison Legacy Series National Champion and Rookie of the Year in 2001, and securing a second national title in 2002. His early success led him to late model racing, where he became the youngest rookie winner at Myrtle Beach Speedway in 2003.

McCumbee's career progressed into NASCAR, where he gained experience in the Craftsman Truck Series, Xfinity Series, and Cup Series. In 2014, he co-founded McCumbee-McAleer Racing (MMR) with Stevan McAleer. Based in Supply, North Carolina, MMR quickly became a force in the Global MX-5 Cup, winning multiple races and the series championship in 2017. The team has since expanded into the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and the Ford Performance Mustang Challenge. In addition to his racing endeavors, McCumbee owns Chad McCumbee Racing, providing oval track racing services. He is also known for portraying Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the film "3: The Dale Earnhardt Story".
