Scott Lagasse Jr.

Scott Lagasse Jr., born on January 31, 1981, is an American professional stock car racing driver. The St. Augustine, Florida native is the son of former sports car and NASCAR driver Scott Lagasse Sr. and has carved out his own career in motorsports. Lagasse Jr. has experience in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Lagasse Jr. began his racing journey early, achieving significant accolades such as the 1999 Top Gun Challenge Championship and the 2001 Late Model Series Champion title. His NASCAR debut came in the Busch Series (now Xfinity Series) in 2005. Over the years, he has participated in 70 Xfinity Series races, with a best finish of 21st in 2009. He also has 31 starts in the Camping World Truck Series. In addition to NASCAR, Lagasse Jr. has raced in the ARCA Racing Series, securing two wins at Kansas and Chicagoland Speedway.

Beyond his driving career, Scott Lagasse Jr. owns Scott Lagasse Racing (TeamSLR) in St. Augustine, Florida. TeamSLR is involved in various racing programs, including Trans Am road racing, dirt late model racing, show car programs, and NASCAR. He also founded SCREEN YOUR MACHINE, an organization dedicated to promoting age-appropriate cancer screenings, a cause that is personal to him as a cancer survivor.
