Oliver Gavin

Oliver Gavin, born on September 29, 1972, is a highly accomplished British racing driver, best known for his long and successful career with Corvette Racing. Joining the team in 2002, Gavin spent nearly two decades as a factory driver, becoming synonymous with the iconic American marque. He secured five class wins at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans (2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2015), six at the 12 Hours of Sebring, and five at Petit Le Mans.

Gavin's success extends beyond endurance races, as he also claimed five American Le Mans Series championships. Before joining Corvette Racing, Gavin honed his skills in various racing disciplines, including British Formula 3, where he won the championship in 1995. He also served as a Formula One test driver for teams like Pacific, Benetton and Renault, and even drove the Formula One Safety Car.

Since retiring from professional racing in 2020, Gavin has remained involved in the sport, working with Corvette Racing on the Oliver Gavin Driver Academy and serving as a co-commentator for the Asian Le Mans Series. His contributions to Corvette Racing and his overall achievements in motorsport have solidified his place as a respected figure in the racing world.
