Matthew Forbush

Matthew Forbush is an American racing driver and entrepreneur known for his participation in GT4 America and IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge series. Born and raised with a passion for motorsports, Forbush transitioned from a successful business career to pursue his dream of racing professionally. He is the founder of Forbush Performance, a race team based in Memphis, Tennessee.

Forbush began his racing career in TC America in 2020 and quickly advanced to GT4 America in 2021, piloting a Toyota GR Supra GT4. In 2023, Forbush Performance partnered with Skip Barber Racing School, with Forbush teaming up with Carter Fartuch in the GT4 America Pro-Am class. Together, they secured a podium finish at Sonoma Raceway, marking a significant achievement for the Skip Barber Race Team's GT4 America program debut. In August 2024, Forbush raced in the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli - GT Driver's Championship at Watkins Glen, finishing 3rd. He also participated in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge - Grand Sport race at Daytona in January 2024.

Beyond his driving career, Forbush is a tech entrepreneur and the founder of Zignyl, a software company that provides workforce and task management tools for franchise operators. He has successfully integrated his racing endeavors with his business, using Forbush Performance as a platform to create memorable experiences for corporate brands and support developing drivers. Forbush Performance is known for being one of the few teams in North America to race the Toyota Supra GT4, and for its commitment to driver development, having secured the 2021 SRO TCA class driver and team championship.
