Logan Sargeant

Logan Sargeant, born on December 31, 2000, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is an American racing driver. He began his motorsport journey at the age of eight, excelling in karting and winning the Karting Federation Junior championship in 2015, the first American to win an FIA karting championship since 1978. Progressing to single-seaters, Sargeant finished second in the 2016-17 Formula 4 UAE Championship with 15 podiums. In 2017, he raced in the F4 British Championship with Carlin Racing, securing third place.

Sargeant moved through the ranks, competing in Formula Renault Eurocup and FIA Formula 3 Championship. In 2020, with Prema Racing, he achieved his first F3 victory at Silverstone and another at Spa-Francorchamps, finishing third overall in the championship. He joined Williams Racing as an Academy Driver and had his first experience in Formula One machinery in the post-season testing in Abu Dhabi in 2021.

In 2023, Sargeant made his Formula 1 debut with Williams Racing, becoming the first American driver to start an F1 season since 2007. He scored his first F1 point at the United States Grand Prix. Williams Racing retained Sargeant for the 2024 season, marking his continued presence in Formula 1.
