Lachlan Evennett

Lachlan Evennett is a rising star in Australian motorsport. The Townsville native, born in 2008, began his racing journey just three years ago, relatively late compared to many of his peers. He quickly progressed from karting to Formula Ford, demonstrating a natural talent and dedication to the sport. In 2024, Evennett made significant strides, participating in the Aussie Racing Cars Super Series, National Formula Ford, and the Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia Scholarship Series.

Evennett's career took a leap forward when Dream Racing Australia signed him as their first driver for the Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia GR Cup. This opportunity led to his debut at the prestigious Supercars Sandown 500 in September 2024, a major milestone. Supported by CM Security, Mike Carney Group, and National Tiles, Evennett impressed with his adaptability and pace in the new Toyota 86 GR. Later in the same year, he debuted in the Monochrome GT4 Australia series at Sydney Motorsport Park, driving a TekworkX Motorsport Porsche 718 Cayman alongside team owner Rob Woods.

Evennett's ultimate goal is to make a living in motorsport and climb to the top ranks, whether in Australia with Supercars or internationally in series like NASCAR or IndyCar. With his determination and the support of his family, especially his father, Evennett is well on his way to achieving his dreams. He is seen as a talent who quickly adapts to different cars and racing environments.
