Josef Záruba

Josef Záruba is a Czech racing driver with a diverse background in motorsport. His career began in karting at a young age, and he later transitioned to racing in the Radical European Masters and the European R-cup. He achieved a significant milestone early in his career by winning an endurance championship title with Micanek Motorsport, sharing the driving duties with Bronislav Formánek in their Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo. Together, they secured 3rd place overall in the prestigious Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe series in the Pro-AM category in 2001.

Záruba has also competed in the ESET Cup, showcasing his skills in a Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO. In 2021, he dominated his class at the Slovakiaring, winning both qualifying sessions and races in the GTC class. More recently, Záruba gained recognition as the inaugural champion of the ESET iSeries virtual championship, demonstrating his adaptability and skill in the virtual racing world. He attributed his success in the virtual series to fair play and consistency, treating the virtual races with the same respect as real-world competitions.
