Jimmy Vernon

Jimmy Vernon, born on June 19, 1997, is a talented Australian racing driver with a diverse motorsport background. Vernon's passion for racing ignited at the young age of seven, initially on two wheels competing in Motocross until he was thirteen. He transitioned to go-karts for a year before venturing into Historic Formula Ford racing at just fourteen.

Vernon's career highlights include winning the 2017 Toyota 86 Racing Series at Bathurst and securing the 2016 NSW Production Touring Cars Endurance Championship. In 2015, he participated in the Australian Formula 4 Championship, achieving strong podium finishes, which led to his participation in the 2016 Bathurst 12-hour race for MARC Cars. In 2022, Jimmy Vernon won Rounds 1 & 2 of the Australian Production Cars Championships. More recently, in February 2025, Vernon participated in the Tyrepower V8 SuperUte Series at Sydney Motorsport Park.

Beyond his racing achievements, Vernon is also known for his ambassadorship with the Kids with Cancer Foundation, dedicating his efforts to raising awareness and bringing joy to children impacted by cancer. His commitment involves featuring a child on his helmet for each race and inviting the children and their families to trackside events.
