Francesco Castellacci

Francesco Castellacci, born on April 4, 1987, is a professional racing driver hailing from Rome, Italy. Castellacci's racing journey began in single-seaters, with his debut in the Formula Azzurra Winter Trophy in late 2005. He quickly showed promise, securing two podium finishes in four races. The following year, he competed in the full Formula Azzurra championship, finishing eighth overall. He transitioned to Formula Three in 2007, participating in the British Formula 3 Championship.

Castellacci has found considerable success in GT racing. His career highlights include winning the 2011 FIA GT3 European Championship while driving a Ferrari 458 Italia GT3, alongside teammate Federico Leo. He has also competed in prestigious events and series such as the FIA GT1 World Championship, the European Le Mans Series (ELMS), the Blancpain Endurance Series, and the International GT Open, showcasing his versatility and skill across various GT racing platforms. In 2018, he achieved second place in the 24 Hours of Le Mans GTE Pro AM Class.

Throughout his career, Castellacci has raced with the AF Corse team and has driven Ferrari cars in various GT competitions. His favorite track is Le Mans. His continuous participation in high-level GT events underlines his commitment to professional racing.
