Francesca Linossi

Francesca Linossi, born on February 15, 1992, is a versatile and accomplished Italian racing driver with a career spanning various racing disciplines. Hailing from Brescia, Italy, Linossi began her racing journey at a young age, following in the footsteps of her father, Luciano, a well-known figure in Italian motorsport.

Linossi's senior career commenced in 2007. After several years in karting, she transitioned to saloon car racing, participating in the Citroen C1 Cup at just 16 years old, becoming the youngest competitor in the series. Unsatisfied with the C1, she moved to the Italian Touring Car Endurance Championship, driving a BMW 120d and securing a third-place finish in the diesel class. Her early career also included stints in the Porsche Cayman Cup, where she was the youngest driver in Italian history to race a 2000cc+ car, and the Coppa Shell Ferrari Challenge. Progressing towards GT racing, she achieved her first podiums in the Italian GT Cup in 2010, driving a Ferrari 430. In 2019 she won the Italian GT Championship in the Pro-Am class.

Linossi has participated in prestigious series like the Ferrari Challenge, Porsche Carrera Cup, and Lamborghini Super Trofeo. She also briefly tested for the W Series. As of early 2025, she continues to compete in GT racing, demonstrating her enduring passion and skill in motorsport.
