Ren Sato

Ren Sato, born on August 5, 2001, is a Japanese racing driver making waves in both Super GT and Super Formula. A Honda factory driver, Sato currently competes in Super GT for ARTA and in Super Formula for PONOS Nakajima Racing. Sato's career began in karting, where he secured multiple championships before transitioning to single-seaters. He made his debut in the FIA F4 Japanese Championship in 2018 with Honda Formula Dream Project, finishing seventh overall. The following year, he dominated the series, claiming the title with 11 wins out of 14 races. In 2020, Sato ventured into the French F4 Championship, finishing as runner-up.

Sato returned to Japan in 2021, competing in Super Formula Lights and Super GT's GT300 class. He finished third in Super Formula Lights and fourth in GT300. In 2022, Sato stepped up to Super Formula with Team Goh, earning Rookie of the Year honors and a podium finish. He also joined the Red Bull Junior Team that year, though his tenure was short-lived. In 2024, Sato moved to PONOS Nakajima Racing in Super Formula and joined ARTA in the GT500 class of Super GT. While not related to Takuma Sato or Marino Sato, Ren is carving his own path in the world of motorsports.
