Nobuharu Matsushita

Nobuharu Matsushita, born on October 13, 1993, in Saitama, Japan, is a versatile and accomplished racing driver with a career spanning various motorsport disciplines. Matsushita began his racing journey in karting at a young age, eventually transitioning to single-seaters in 2011. Progressing through the ranks, he clinched the Formula Challenge Japan title in 2012 and the All-Japan Formula Three Championship in 2014.

In 2015, Matsushita ventured into European racing, competing in the GP2 Series (later FIA Formula 2) with ART Grand Prix. Over several seasons, he secured multiple wins and podiums, showcasing his talent on the international stage. Notably, he also served as a development driver for McLaren-Honda during this period, gaining valuable experience within a Formula 1 environment. After his time in Europe, Matsushita returned to Japan to compete in both Super Formula and Super GT.

Currently, Nobuharu Matsushita is competing in Super GT for ARTA and Super Formula for TGM Grand Prix. He has achieved success in both series, including a Super Formula win at Suzuka in 2022. His career highlights include winning the 2021 Super GT World Awards Shingo Tachi Memorial Award, his Formula 3 title, and multiple wins in Formula 2.
