Leona CHIN Lyweoi

Leona Chin Lyweoi, born on July 23, 1986, is a Malaysian professional motorsport athlete renowned for her versatility and skill across various racing disciplines. Starting her career in drifting at age 19, she quickly transitioned into circuit racing and has since become a prominent figure in the Asian motorsport scene. Leona's journey began with a deep passion for automobiles, leading her to participate in drifting competitions and hone her car control skills.

Leona's career highlights include finishing as the 1st runner-up in the 2016 Renault Clio Cup China Series and winning the 2021 Sepang 1000KM Endurance Race and the 2021 Malaysia Championship Series (MCS) MTC Overall Champion title. She was also awarded the "Most Inspiring Female Motorsport Athlete Award" from Sepang Circuit in 2019 and the PETRONAS SIC Motorsports Association of Malaysia Awards in 2018. In 2015, she gained international fame for a viral video where she pranked driving instructors, winning a WebTVAsia Award for "Freaking Awesome Video of the Year".
