Kimiya Sato

Kimiya Sato, born on October 5, 1989, is a Japanese racing driver currently competing in Super GT. Sato's career began in karting in Asia before transitioning to Formula BMW UK, where he finished fourth in 2007. He further honed his skills in Europe, participating in the Formula 3 Euro Series and the German Formula Three Championship, achieving a third-place finish in the latter in 2012.

In 2013, Sato's career gained momentum with a runner-up position in Auto GP. That same year, he had the opportunity to test for Sauber Formula One team at the Young Driver Test, setting the 25th fastest time overall. The following year, Sato entered the GP2 Series with Campos Racing, marking a significant step in his pursuit of a career in top-tier motorsport.
