Roger Grouwels

Roger Grouwels is a Dutch racing driver with a diverse motorsport background, transitioning from circuit racing to off-road rallies. Born on June 28, 1964, Grouwels began his racing journey in the late 1990s, competing in series with cars like Renault Clios, BMWs, Porsches, Vipers, and Corvettes. In 2005, he established his own team, RaceArt, which provides services at circuits across Europe. Grouwels achieved considerable success in circuit racing, including winning the Porsche Cup Benelux and becoming a World Champion in the Ferrari Challenge between 2016 and 2018. In 2020, he won on his debut in the Ferrari Challenge Coppa Shell at Imola.

More recently, Grouwels has focused on off-road racing, with the Dakar Rally being a primary objective. He participated in the Dakar Rally in 2023 and 2024. For the 2025 Dakar Rally, Grouwels is partnering with navigator Rudolf Meijer and will drive a South Racing Can-Am Maverick 1000R T4. His team RaceArt is partnering with QFF Racing for logistical and operational support. Grouwels' ambition for Dakar 2025 is to reach the finish line, having been thwarted by mechanical issues in previous attempts.
