Martin Barkey

Martin Barkey is a Canadian racing driver and businessman hailing from Huntsville, Ontario. Born in 1966, Barkey's passion for motorsports ignited early, leading him to pursue racing alongside a successful entrepreneurial career. He is the CEO of MBRP Performance Exhaust, a company he founded with his wife, Ginger, in 1996. MBRP has grown from a one-car garage operation to a major employer in the Huntsville area, manufacturing and distributing aftermarket exhaust systems.

Barkey's racing journey includes participation in various series around the world. He has competed in the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada, CASC Racing series, and the Pirelli World Challenge GTS series. In 2019, he secured the Pro/Am Championship in the Pirelli World Challenge GT3 series, co-driving with Kyle Marcelli for Racer's Edge Motorsports in an Acura NSX. Beyond road racing, Barkey has also ventured into off-road racing, participating in Ultra4 Racing events in deserts, rocks, and short courses. His racing achievements include multiple podium finishes and a sprint race win at Monterey Beach, California.

Barkey views racing as a balance between personal passion and business networking. His racing efforts are supported by his company, MBRP, which also sponsors other motorsports professionals.
