Richard Gartner

Richard Gartner is an Australian racing driver with a career spanning back to the 1980s. Gartner's early racing experiences coincided with the rise of Australian motorsport legends like Mark Skaife and David Brabham. He has participated in events like the Bathurst 12 Hour, where he has achieved multiple class wins in the Production Car era. In more recent years, he has competed in the Australian GT Trophy Series, driving a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 GT3.

In 2018, Gartner teamed up with experienced drivers such as John Bowe, David Wall, and Hadrian Morrall for the Bathurst 12 Hour, with Wall Racing preparing and running his Lamborghini Gallardo GT3. He has a history with the Bathurst 12 Hour, finishing fourth in class in 2017 in a Porsche GT3 Cup Car and securing a class podium the previous year. Before transitioning to the Lamborghini, Gartner had considerable experience racing a Porsche GT3 Cup Car.

Beyond racing, Gartner is also the founder of SafeTstop, a company specializing in vehicle testing lanes. His passion for motorsport led him to recognize the importance of proper brake adjustment, both on the track and for road safety, driving him to develop innovative brake testing solutions.
