Nigel Schoonderwoerd

Nigel Schoonderwoerd, a Dutch driver born on June 28, 1989, in Bilthoven, has made a name for himself in the world of GT racing after transitioning from a successful career as an entrepreneur. He is the owner of Schoonderwoerd Vlees and an investor at NA-Invest B.V.. Schoonderwoerd's racing journey began relatively recently, obtaining his national racing license in November 2020 and his EU license in March 2021, without prior karting experience.

In 2021, he competed in the BMW Championship, securing first place in the PRO/AM class. He then stepped up to the Ferrari Challenge, where he achieved the title of World Vice Champion in the AM class in 2022. Continuing his success, Schoonderwoerd became the World Vice Champion in the PRO/AM class of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo in 2023, showcasing his adaptability across different racing platforms. In 2022, he achieved 5th position in Paul Ricard Race-1 and secured 2nd position in the Imola - Finali Mondiali Race-1.

Schoonderwoerd is classified as an FIA Bronze driver. In 2023, he was supported by the official Lamborghini factory team led by Iron Lynx.
