Michael Sheargold

Michael Sheargold is an Australian racing driver who competes in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS. In 2023, he finished third with RAM Motorsport. He continues to race in the series in 2024 driving a Mercedes-AMG GT3.

Sheargold has an extensive racing history, participating in 53 races and securing 8 wins and 26 podium finishes. His career includes participation in the Michelin 24H Series Middle East Trophy - GT3 and the Super GT Australian Championship. In January 2025, he participated in the Michelin 24H Series Middle East Trophy - GT3 at Yas Marina and Dubai Autodrome. In late 2024, he competed in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS - Sprint Cup Am at Mount Panorama and Phillip Island, achieving multiple podium finishes.

Notably, Sheargold made a comeback to racing just six weeks after undergoing bowel cancer removal surgery. Following his diagnosis, he launched the N2YGT3 campaign to raise funds for Bowel Cancer Australia, surpassing his initial fundraising target.
