Memo Rojas

Guillermo "Memo" Rojas Jr., born on August 18, 1981, is a highly accomplished Mexican race car driver with a career spanning various racing series across North America and Europe. Following in the footsteps of his father, Guillermo Rojas Sr., a successful Mexican racer, Memo began karting at a young age and quickly progressed through the ranks. He earned the National Kart Championship in 1995 and transitioned to open-wheel racing, becoming a two-time runner-up in the Mexican Formula 3 series. He also honed his skills in the Barber Dodge series in the United States.

Rojas transitioned to sports car racing in 2007, joining Chip Ganassi Racing and partnering with Scott Pruett in the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series. This partnership proved incredibly successful, leading to four series championships (2008, 2010, 2011, 2012). Together, they achieved remarkable dominance, including a record-setting six wins in 2008. Memo is also a three-time winner of the prestigious 24 Hours of Daytona. He secured victories in 2008, 2011, and 2013.

In recent years, Rojas has focused on racing in Europe, achieving considerable success in the European Le Mans Series, securing championship titles in 2017 and 2019. Throughout his career, Memo Rojas has demonstrated exceptional talent, consistency, and determination, solidifying his status as one of Mexico's most successful and respected racing drivers. He holds the distinction of being the first Mexican driver to win a major American racing championship.
