Maximilian Götz

Maximilian Götz, born on February 4, 1986, is a German racing driver with a diverse and successful career spanning various motorsport disciplines. Starting his racing journey in karting at the age of 10, Götz transitioned to Formula BMW in 2002, where he quickly made a name for himself. In 2003, he secured the Formula BMW ADAC title, demonstrating his talent early on. He then progressed through the ranks, competing in series like the Formula 3 Euro Series and International Formula Master.

Götz found considerable success in GT racing. In 2012, he partnered with Sebastian Asch to win the ADAC GT Masters championship. Two years later, he claimed the Blancpain Sprint Series title. His achievements in GT racing earned him a spot in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) in 2015, driving for Mercedes-AMG. After a few seasons in DTM, he returned to GT racing before making a comeback to DTM in 2021, where he clinched the DTM title in a dramatic season finale.

Throughout his career, Götz has also participated in prestigious endurance races, including the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, which he won in 2013. He has also competed in the IMSA SportsCar Championship and the FIA World Endurance Championship, showcasing his versatility and skill across different racing formats. With his extensive experience and championship titles, Maximilian Götz has established himself as a prominent figure in German and international motorsport.
