Matteo Nannini

Matteo Nannini, born on July 10, 2003, is a young and ambitious Italian racing driver carving his path in the world of motorsport. Hailing from Faenza, Italy, Nannini comes from a family with a rich racing heritage; he is the first cousin once-removed of former Formula One driver Alessandro Nannini and singer Gianna Nannini.

Nannini's motorsport journey began at the age of 6 with karting, where he secured numerous championships, including the prestigious Trofeo dei Campioni in Italy while competing with Fernando Alonso's karting team. Transitioning to single-seater racing in 2019, he immediately made his mark by winning the Formula 4 UAE Championship with Xcel Motorsport, showcasing his talent with seven victories and eight additional podium finishes. He further honed his skills in various series, including the Formula Regional European Championship. In 2020, Nannini stepped up to the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Jenzer Motorsport, demonstrating his potential with a podium finish at Barcelona. He continued in FIA F3 in 2021 with HWA Racelab, also participating part-time in Formula 2.

In 2023, Nannini transitioned to Indy NXT with Juncos Hollinger Racing, marking his entry into North American open-wheel racing. While his time with the team was cut short, he secured a memorable victory at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course after claiming the team's first pole since 2019. Known for his smooth driving style and ability to manage tires effectively, Matteo Nannini continues to pursue his racing dreams with determination and a strong connection to his family's motorsport legacy.
