Liesette Braams-Van Den Berg is a Dutch racing driver with a career spanning various racing series, including GT4 European Series, Dutch Winter Endurance Championship, and the Lotus Ladies Cup. Born into a racing family, with her husband Luc Braams and son Max Braams also involved in motorsports, Liesette has become a familiar face in the paddock. Braams-Van Den Berg's early career involved racing in the Burando Production Open championship and the Dutch Supercar Challenge, driving BMWs. She also participated in several 24-hour races, including the Dubai 24 Hours and the Toyo Tyres Series event at Barcelona. In 2012 and 2013, she was part of the "Dutch Racing Divas" team, achieving some success in the Dubai 24 Hours, winning the A3T class in 2013. She secured the Ladies' award in the BMW Sports Trophy in 2013 and finished third in the Winter Endurance Championship. 2013 also saw her securing 4th place in the Lotus Ladies Cup, with a best finish of second at the Hungaroring.
In later years, Braams-Van Den Berg continued to be active in GT racing, competing in the GT4 European Series and ADAC GT4 championship. She raced McLarens and BMWs, achieving multiple podium finishes in the Am class of the GT4 European Series in 2019. She also overcame a cancer diagnosis in 2015, returning to racing in 2016. Liesette continues to race and is associated with the Las Moras Racing Team, run by the Braams family.
