Brett Hobson

Brett Hobson is an Australian racing driver with experience in GT World Challenge Australia. In 2021, he made a full-time return to motorsport, driving a GWR Australia-prepared Nissan GT-R in the GT World Challenge Australia, competing in the Trophy Class. He had previously participated in select events like the Bathurst 12 Hour but had not competed full-time since 2008 in the Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series. In 2022, Hobson acquired an ex-factory Nissan GT-R GT3, previously raced in the Bathurst 12 Hour, to replace his existing chassis.

In 2023, Hobson returned to the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia, driving a Mercedes-AMG GT3 alongside Mike Bailey, stepping up to the Pro-Am class. He acknowledged the challenge of competing against well-credentialed drivers in the Pro class. Hobson has also driven with wife Laura where the plan is for her to compete in state-based level competition.
