Ross Thompson

Ross Thompson is an American racing driver with experience in various racing series. In 2001, Thompson participated in the NASCAR Busch Series, driving a Ford for PRW Racing. He finished 143rd in the standings that year. Later, in 2005, Thompson competed in the SPEED World Challenge - Touring Car series with K&G Engineering/Palomar Tech/AWR, driving a Mazda Protege. He finished 52nd overall. In 2007, Thompson raced in the Grand-Am Koni Challenge GS with Horsepower Ranch, finishing 46th in a Porsche 997.

More recently, Thompson has been active in Super Touring 3 (ST3). In a 2019 race, he secured a first-place finish after Luke Rumburg, who initially crossed the finish line ahead of him, was penalized for a procedural violation. Thompson acknowledged the intense competition, particularly from the TCR cars, and expressed appreciation for his team, Desert Flight Racing.
