Andy Priaulx

Andrew Graham "Andy" Priaulx, MBE, born August 7, 1974, is a British racing driver hailing from Guernsey. Priaulx is a highly accomplished and versatile driver with a career spanning various motorsport disciplines. He is best known for his remarkable achievements in touring car racing, where he secured four consecutive FIA touring car championship titles. This includes the European Touring Car Championship (ETCC) in 2004 and the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) from 2005 to 2007, making him the only FIA Touring Car champion to win an international-level championship for four consecutive years.

Beyond touring cars, Priaulx has demonstrated his talent in other racing categories. He has competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), racing for Ford Chip Ganassi Team UK, and has also participated in prestigious events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Furthermore, he served as a BMW Williams F1 team test driver in 2005 and 2006. His success extends to winning the Nürburgring 24 Hour race and the Sebring 12 Hour race, along with a triumph at the Race of Champions in 2008, where he won every race for Team GB.

Priaulx's dedication to motorsport is evident in his early career, where he even gambled his house to secure funding. In recognition of his achievements, he was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in 2008 for his services to motorsport. In recent years, he has continued to be involved in racing with Multimatic Motorsports, contributing to various racing projects and showcasing his development skills. His son, Sebastian Priaulx, is also a racing driver, carrying on the family's passion for motorsport.
