Alexander Kolb

Alexander Kolb is a German racing driver with a passion for both modern and historic motorsport. He has been actively involved in motorsport since 2000, particularly noted as an enthusiastic Austin-Healey driver on the Nordschleife. Kolb has achieved considerable success in various racing series, including the FHR Long Distance Cup, where he secured seven class wins between 2005 and 2020 in the GT-Klasse 8. He also boasts over 100 class victories in GT8 across different racing series.

Notably, Kolb achieved overall victories at the Westphalen-Trophy at the Nürburgring in October 2013 and 2015 with an Austin-Healey 3000 MK I, and at the ADAC 24h-Classic in 2021 driving an Austin-Healey 3000 MK II. He also secured an overall win at the Hockenheimring in May 2021 with a Shelby Cobra 289. In modern motorsport, 2009 saw him achieve several class wins in the VLN series and at the ADAC 24h-Rennen Nürburgring with an Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4.

More recently, since 2016, Kolb has added over 20 class wins in the SP8 class of the VLN Long Distance Championship Nürburgring (now known as the Nürburgring Endurance Series - NLS), driving an Aston Martin GT8 and a Mercedes-AMG GT4. He was also a class winner in the SP4T+SP8T category at the 53rd ADAC Barbarossapreis in 2021 with a Mercedes-AMG GT4. Beyond his racing achievements, Alexander Kolb is also a board member and spokesperson for the "Fahrergemeinschaft Historischer Rennsport," an association for historic motorsport with approximately 700 members.
