Stevan Mcaleer

Stevan McAleer, born on August 28, 1984, is a British racing driver who has made a name for himself in various racing series, including the IMSA SportsCar Championship, GT World Challenge Europe, and Michelin Pilot Challenge. McAleer's journey into motorsports began at the age of 10, inspired by a local karting track in his hometown of Glasgow. By age 12, he was racing karts competitively. After achieving significant success in karting, including four Scottish Karting Championships, McAleer moved to the United States in 2005 to pursue further racing opportunities.

In the U.S., McAleer quickly progressed through the ranks. He secured a scholarship for the Skip Barber Regional Championship and later transitioned to sports car racing. McAleer's career highlights include winning the GT World Challenge America Pro class in 2023, the GT4 America Series - Silver title in 2022, the GT4 America East - Pro-Am title in 2019, the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge - ST title in 2015, and the Global MX-5 Cup in 2012. He also co-owns McCumbee McAleer Racing.

McAleer's versatility and adaptability have allowed him to excel in different types of race cars and series. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated consistent performance, securing numerous wins, podium finishes, and championships. In 2023, he was promoted to an FIA Gold categorization, which reflects his skill and experience as a driver. McAleer continues to be a strong competitor in the GT racing scene, showcasing his talent on both sides of the Atlantic.
