Julian Westwood is a British racing driver with a career spanning several decades. Westwood began his racing journey at the age of 14 in karting before transitioning to single-seaters in 1986. He progressed through the ranks of Formula Ford, securing a runner-up position in the 1988 FF2000 Championship with a works Van Diemen drive. In 1989, he moved to Formula 3, achieving a points finish in his debut race.
In the early 1990s, Westwood competed in British F3000, finishing third in the championship in 1991 with CaneCordy Motorsport, becoming the top British driver in the series. Later in his career, Westwood participated in the TOCA Shoot Out in 1994 and competed in BTCC support races. He won the 1997 Vectra Championship. In 1998, he raced in European Renault Spiders, finishing second overall with a win at Monaco. After some rare racing appearances, he didn't have a single drive in 2000.
More recently, Westwood won the Class AM Drivers title in the 2015 International Blancpain Watches Endurance Series. Beyond driving, Westwood has also been involved in racing as a Race Engineer with Team Parker Racing.
