Florian Van dooren

Florian Van Dooren is a rising star in the world of Belgian motorsport. Born and raised in Belgium, this young driver has quickly made a name for himself in the GT racing scene. At just 17 years old (as of July 2023), Van Dooren has already accumulated five years of racing experience, starting in karting before transitioning to GT cars.

Van Dooren currently competes in the GT4 European Series with Team Speedcar, driving an Audi R8 LMS GT4, and has previously raced in the Championnat de France GT4 with CMR. He also participates in the Fun Cup series. In 2023, he was driving an Alpine A110 GT4 with CMR in GT4 France. While still seeking his first win in the Fun Cup, he achieved the title of vice-champion of Europe in the series. In GT4, he has already achieved podium finishes despite facing reliability issues with his car. In the Ultimate Cup Series season, driving a #30 CMR Porsche Cayman GT4, he and teammate Nicolas Prost won an endurance race at Circuit Paul Ricard.

With ambitions of becoming a professional factory driver for prestigious brands like BMW, Porsche, or Ferrari, Van Dooren is dedicated to honing his skills and climbing the ranks of motorsport. His ultimate dream includes competing in prototypes, participating in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and even becoming a reserve driver for a Formula 2 or Formula 1 team.
