Luis michael Dörrbecker

Luis Michael Dörrbecker, born on September 1, 1993, is a Mexican racing driver with a diverse career spanning from karting to various formula series and GT racing. Dörrbecker's early career was marked by success in karting, winning the Super Karts Cup México in both 2005 and 2006, as well as the NACAM Formula Kart Rotax Championship Latin America in 2007. He transitioned to formula racing in 2008, competing in Formula Vee Mexico and the Skip Barber Southern Regional Series.

In 2010, Dörrbecker expanded his racing endeavors to Europe, participating in Formula Renault 2.0 Italia. He continued to hone his skills in various series, including Formula Renault 2.0 Alps and the Formula ACI/CSAI Abarth Italian Championship, where he achieved a podium finish in 2013. Dörrbecker also gained experience in Formula Acceleration 1, representing Team Mexico in 2014. A significant milestone in his career came in 2016 when he won both races in the first round of the Auto GP series. Later that year, he competed in the BOSS GP Series, securing a win and multiple overall podiums driving a Lola B05/52.

More recently, Dörrbecker has participated in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, debuting in 2022 with Vincenzo Sospiri Racing. He continues to be an active racer, showcasing his versatility and passion for motorsports across different racing disciplines. He has also participated in NASCAR Mexico Series.
