Robert Megennis

Robert Megennis, born on March 5, 2000, is an American-British-Korean race car driver who has been actively involved in motorsports since 2015. Starting his career in F1600, he quickly progressed through the ranks, competing in the USF2000 series, Pro Mazda, and Indy Lights. Megennis secured a win at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway and a pole position at the Freedom 100 during his time in Indy Lights with Andretti Autosport in 2019 and 2021. In 2020, he participated in two rounds of the European Le Mans Series and the Intercontinental GT Challenge Indianapolis 8 Hour.

Transitioning to sports cars, Megennis joined Turner Motorsport in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. In 2022, he piloted the #39 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo, achieving three podium finishes. He was also with the Turner Motorsport BMW team in 2023 and 2024, finishing third in the championship as the highest-finishing BMW in 2024. In 2025, Megennis is driving the #2 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport for CSM in his fourth full IMSA season.

Outside of racing, Megennis is the Managing Director of Megennis Motorsport and works with technology executives. He was also an advisor to West Point/Purdue University for a project involving autonomous race cars. He resides in New York City and enjoys simulator practice, rock climbing, and video games.
