Petru Gabriel Florescu, born on January 4, 1999, is a Romanian racing driver with a career spanning various racing series. Florescu's motorsport journey began with karting in 2007 at the age of eight. He transitioned to single-seater racing in 2015, debuting in the UK-based MSA Formula series with Carlin. He showed promise early on, finishing sixth overall in his second season in the series.
In December 2016, Florescu participated in GP3 post-season testing with Campos Racing. The following year, Campos signed him for their Euroformula Open division. He also competed in the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship with Douglas Motorsport. His career highlights include a 10th place finish in the 2017 Euroformula Open Championship and 6th in the 2016 British F4 Championship, where he secured 5 wins and 8 podiums.
Florescu has also participated in series such as Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, FIA Formula 3 European Championship, and the Toyota Racing Series. As of 2025, he is associated with Drivex in the Euroformula Open Championship, driving a Dallara F312 chassis.
