Max Defourny is a Belgian professional racing driver, born on October 9, 1998, in Liège. Defourny began his karting career at the age of eleven in 2009, securing his first title the following year. Transitioning to single-seaters in 2014, he participated in the French F4 Championship and the Italian F4 Championship.
In 2015, Defourny moved to the Formula Renault 2.0 series with the ART Junior Team, achieving three wins and fourth place in the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC. The following year, with R-ace GP, he finished as vice-champion to Lando Norris in the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC and third in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0. Continuing with R-ace GP in 2017, he finished fourth in the championship, securing one win at Circuit Paul Ricard. In the 2018-19 MRF Challenge, Defourny finished as runner-up to Jamie Chadwick.
