Frankie Bird, born on August 20, 1999, is a British racing driver hailing from Nassington, Northamptonshire. In 2024, Bird was recognized as an official Mercedes-AMG Junior Driver, marking a significant step in his career.

Bird's entry into motorsport wasn't conventional, beginning in the 2015 Ginetta Junior Championship. His talent quickly shone through, securing a win at Knockhill in his debut year. He transitioned to single-seaters in 2016, competing in the British F4 Championship and achieving several top-10 finishes. In 2017, he progressed to the Formula Renault Eurocup and Northern European Cup Championships, almost clinching a podium at Monza in 2018. Diversifying his skills, Bird ventured into rallying in 2019 and dominated the 2019/2020 Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship with MSVR, winning five out of seven events and following that up with six wins in seven winter events.

In 2020, Bird joined Team Parker Racing for the GT World Challenge Europe, racing in the Silver Cup and participating in the prestigious 24 Hours of Spa. The following year, he secured a podium in the 24H Dubai with Team WRT and competed in the GT World Challenge Europe Silver Class, earning a podium in the Endurance Cup and two wins and three podiums in the Sprint Cup, finishing third overall. In recent years, Bird has continued to make his mark in GT racing, including competing in the Asian Le Mans Series, ADAC GT Masters, and Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe. He also achieved a GT2 class victory at the Nürburgring 24 Hours. Bird continues his circuit racing career as a member of the official Mercedes AMG Motorsport Team, participating in European events driving a factory-supported Mercedes AMG GT3. He has also been recognized with the 'Rising Star' accolade by the British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC).
