Drake Kemper

Drake Kemper is an American professional race car driver hailing from the United States, who has competed in several racing series. Born on April 24, 1991, Kemper's journey into motorsports began unexpectedly during his teenage years. Unlike many racers who start with karting at a young age, Kemper's background was initially in acting and extreme sports. He purchased a race car for fun, quickly revealing a natural talent for driving.

Kemper's racing career gained momentum, leading him to the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, Pirelli World Challenge, and the INDYCAR Global Mazda MX-5 Cup. He was also the 2014 MAZDASPEED Pro Challenge Champion. In 2015, he raced in the Battery Tender Mazda MX-5 Cup with SickSideways Racing, securing a scholarship from MAZDA Motorsports after winning the MAZDASPEED Pro Challenge championship. That same year, he won his first race at Sebring in his first start in the Battery Tender Mazda MX-5 Cup. Beyond racing, Kemper is also a coach and instructor. He has worked with Skip Barber Racing School since 2012 and offers private coaching, data/video instruction, co-driving duties, and specialized training like Advanced Car Control clinics. Based out of Austin, TX, he has access to the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) and The Thermal Club in Southern CA, offering track time opportunities.
