Ciaran Haggerty, born on August 12, 1996, is a racing driver from the United Kingdom. Haggerty's career began in karting at the age of 10, and he quickly progressed, demonstrating natural talent and passion for motorsports. In 2014, at the age of 18, Haggerty became the youngest Formula Ford Champion in Scotland, showcasing his skills with 11 wins out of 15 championship rounds at Knockhill.
Haggerty transitioned from single-seaters to GT racing, joining Black Bull Ecurie Ecosse in 2016 to race in the British GT Championship. He partnered with Sandy Mitchell to drive the new McLaren 570S GT4, contributing to the car's competitive development. The duo were part of the team's Young Driver Initiative, receiving assistance from McLaren factory driver Rob Bell.
Throughout his career, Haggerty has shown ambition and determination. In an interview in 2016, he expressed that sports cars were a more sensible option for him, and mentioned testing the GT3 car in late 2015, noting that GT cars are more forgiving than single-seaters.
