Andrea Kimi Antonelli

Andrea Kimi Antonelli is an Italian racing prodigy, born on August 25, 2006, in Bologna. Widely considered one of the most promising talents in motorsport, Antonelli joined the Mercedes Junior Team in April 2019 at the age of 12. His father, Marco Antonelli, is a sportscar racing driver.

Antonelli's karting career was marked by significant success, including victories in the WSK Euro Series and Super Master Series in 2019 in the OK Junior category. He also secured the FIA Karting European Championship in 2020 and 2021. Transitioning to single-seater racing in 2021, he achieved podium finishes in the Italian Formula 4 Championship with Prema Racing. In 2022, he dominated both the ADAC and Italian Formula 4 championships. The subsequent year saw him conquer the Formula Regional Middle East and Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. In 2024, Antonelli progressed to Formula 2, securing his first victory at Silverstone and becoming the youngest multiple-race winner in the series after winning in Hungary.

In 2025, Antonelli signed with Mercedes, replacing Lewis Hamilton and partnering with George Russell. He made his Formula 1 debut at the Australian Grand Prix, becoming the third-youngest driver in F1 history. He finished the race in fourth place, marking a strong start to his F1 career and demonstrating his potential as a future star.
