Thomas Laurent, born on April 5, 1998, is a French racing driver making a name for himself in the world of endurance racing. From a young age, Laurent showed a keen interest in motorsports, fueled by his father's background as a go-kart racing mechanic. He began karting at just three years old and started competing at the age of seven, achieving significant success in karting, including multiple French championships and a World Karting Championship in 2015.

Laurent transitioned to sports car racing, quickly ascending the ranks. He gained recognition racing in the Asian Le Mans Series, before moving to the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). A defining moment came in 2017 when, driving for Jackie Chan DC Racing, he secured a second-place overall finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This impressive result solidified his position as a rising star. He continued to achieve podiums, including a third-place finish at the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans.
