Sebastian Melrose

Sebastian Melrose, born on January 12, 1998, is a Scottish racing driver with experience in various racing series. His career began in 2014 in the Scottish Formula Ford Championship, earning him the Scottish Motor Racing Club (SMRC) Rising Star award. He's also a winner of the Ecurie Ecosse Hubcap. Melrose's passion for racing was influenced by his godfather, Dario Franchitti, a four-time IndyCar Series champion and three-time Indy 500 winner.

Melrose achieved success in the Formula Ford 1600 series, finishing 5th in his second season with Graham Brunton Racing. In 2016, he secured 3rd place and won the SMRC Best Young Single Seater Driver accolade. He continued his strong performance in the Scottish Championship, finishing 2nd in 2017 and winning the David Leslie Trophy. In 2019, Melrose transitioned to closed-wheel racing, joining Walkenhorst Motorsport in Germany to compete in the VLN Series at the Nürburgring driving a BMW. In 2021, he stepped up to the Ginetta GT4 Supercup, racing with Team HARD.

Beyond racing, Melrose has also gained recognition for his appearance on the Netflix reality show "Too Hot To Handle." He is the co-founder of Reprimo Life, a natural supplement brand and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, and Support Services from Queen Margaret University.
