Ferdinand Habsburg

Ferdinand Zvonimir Maria Balthus Keith Michael Otto Antal Bahnam Leonhard Habsburg-Lothringen, most commonly known as Ferdinand Habsburg, is an Austrian racing driver with a unique background. Born on June 21, 1997, in Salzburg, Austria, he is the heir apparent to the headship of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine.

Habsburg's career began in karting at age 14, progressing through various Formula series, including Formula Renault and the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. In 2017, he gained attention for his performance in the Macau Grand Prix. Transitioning to sports car racing, he has competed in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) and various GT series.

A significant achievement in Habsburg's career came in 2021 when he won the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) in the LMP2 class, driving for Team WRT alongside Charles Milesi and Robin Frijns. In 2024, Habsburg joined Alpine Endurance Team, competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship in the Hypercar class. He also participates in the European Le Mans Series with Cool Racing. His racing number, 62, has been with him since his karting days.
