Diego Menchaca

Diego Menchaca González-Quintanilla, born on October 20, 1994, is a Mexican racing driver hailing from Mexico City. Menchaca's racing journey began in karting at the age of eight, competing in championships across Mexico and the United States starting in 2006. He transitioned to single-seaters in 2011, joining the LATAM Challenge Series, where he secured a pole position in Houston and finished fourth overall. He further honed his skills in the British Formula Renault Championship in 2012 and 2013.

In 2014, Menchaca switched to BRDC Formula 4 with Douglas Motorsport, claiming a victory at Donington Park and finishing seventh in the standings. He then joined Campos Racing in the Euroformula Open Championship for 2015 and 2016, achieving consistent results with a best of fourth overall in 2016. Menchaca's career has also included participation in series such as Formula V8 3.5, GP3 Series, European Le Mans Series, and Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe.

More recently, Menchaca has focused on GT racing, achieving notable success. His career highlights include a third-place overall finish in the GT Open in 2023 and a victory in the Dubai 24 Hours in the same year. He continues to compete in the International GT Open with Team Motopark. He is also a member of Escuderia Telmex.
