Walter Margelli is an Italian racing driver with a career spanning several years in prototype and touring car racing. Born on May 1, 1967, Margelli has demonstrated his skills in various racing series, primarily in his native Italy.
Margelli has a background in prototype racing, specifically in the Italian Prototype Championship. In 2016, he finished as runner-up in the CN2 class, securing three wins during the season. In 2018, Margelli transitioned to touring car racing, joining Nannini Racing in the TCR Italy series, driving a Honda Civic Type R FK2 TCR. Unfortunately, his debut race at Imola was cut short due to a collision.
Later in his career, Margelli returned to prototype racing. In 2019, he secured the Master Tricolore Prototipi title driving a Norma M20 CN2 for CMS Racing Cars. Throughout his career, he has achieved 4 wins, 6 poles, and 24 podiums in 58 races.
