James 'Jiggy' Gornall, born on July 8, 1984, is a versatile British racing driver with experience across various motorsport disciplines. Gornall began karting in 1995 and transitioned to car racing in 2003 in the BARC Formula Renault Championship. He further honed his skills in the UK Formula Renault Championship, supporting the British Touring Car Championship. His career highlights include winning the 2008 British GT Championship, the 2019 Mini Challenge UK, and the 2003 BARC Formula Renault Championship.
Gornall made his debut in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) in 2020 with Trade Price Cars Racing. In 2022, he made a one-off return to the BTCC, substituting for Jack Butel at Croft, driving a Hyundai i30N for Bristol Street Motors with EXCELR8 TradePriceCars.com. Beyond racing, James is a driver coach, holding an 'A' Grade ARDS instructor license. He is also a member of the British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC).
In addition to his racing achievements, Gornall has held positions such as Head of Sales & Marketing at Aero Tec Laboratories, Head of Motorsport at Ellis Clowes, and Championship Coordinator at the MSV FIA Formula Two Championship. He utilizes his Pro II Simulator for race preparation, track learning, and online competitions, while also remotely coaching his customers.
