Chad Reed, born on March 15, 1982, in Kurri Kurri, New South Wales, Australia, is a retired motocross and supercross racer who achieved legendary status in the sport. Known for his remarkable consistency and fierce competitiveness, Reed holds the record for the most main event starts in AMA Supercross history with 265 starts, as well as 132 podium finishes. Reed began his professional career in Australia in 1998, quickly establishing himself by winning the Australian 250cc Supercross Championships in 1999 and 2000.
Reed's move to the United States in 2002 marked the beginning of a stellar international career. He secured the AMA Supercross 125cc East Championship in 2002 and continued his success in the premier classes, winning the AMA Supercross 250cc Championship in 2004 and the AMA Supercross 450cc Championship in 2008.
