Tom Blomqvist

Tom Blomqvist, born on November 30, 1993, is a British racing driver carving out an impressive career across multiple racing disciplines. The son of 1984 World Rally Champion Stig Blomqvist, Tom began his racing journey in karting in New Zealand, amassing eight championship titles before transitioning to Europe to pursue single-seater racing. He quickly made his mark, becoming the youngest-ever Formula Renault UK champion. Blomqvist further honed his skills in Formula 3, finishing as vice-champion in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship in 2014, behind Esteban Ocon and ahead of Max Verstappen.

Blomqvist's career has since expanded into various forms of racing, including DTM, Formula E, and the FIA World Endurance Championship. He made history as the youngest BMW driver to win a DTM race in his first season. In sports car racing, he has achieved significant success, including winning the prestigious 24 Hours of Spa in 2018. He secured back-to-back victories at the Rolex 24 at Daytona in 2022 and 2023, also claiming the IMSA DPi Championship in 2022.

Currently, in 2025, Blomqvist is set to compete in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with Acura Meyer Shank Racing, driving the No. 60 Acura ARX-06 alongside Colin Braun. In addition to IMSA, in 2023 Tom contested in the FIA World Endurance Championship with United Autosports. Known for his versatility and adaptability, Blomqvist continues to be a formidable force in the world of motorsport.
