Tohjiro Azuma

Tohjiro Azuma is a Japanese racing driver with a career spanning several racing series. Born on February 22, 1984, Azuma began his racing journey with karting in 1996. Progressing through the ranks, he participated in various series including the JAF local championship FJ1600 Motegi series, where he achieved a 3rd place finish. He also competed in the ESSO Formula Toyota series (FT) and Formula Challenge Japan (FCJ).

Azuma has experience in Super GT, making a spot entry in the GT300 class at the Malaysian round. He has also been a regular in the Super Taikyu series, with participations in 2010, 2011, and a full season in 2012 in the ST-3 class. Furthermore, he participated in the GT Asia series, specifically in the Japanese rounds from Rd.1 to Rd.6. He's also raced in the SUPER GT GT300 class with teams like PACIFIC RACING and R'Qs MOTOR SPORTS, and in the Super Taikyu series with T's CONCEPT.

Notably, Azuma has competed in the Nürburgring 24 Hours race, achieving a 3rd place in the SP10 class. In 2021, he secured 6th place in the same class while driving a TOYOTA SUPRA GT4 for Novel Racing with Toyo Tire by Ring Racing. His racing endeavors include participation in the Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie (NLS), driving in the VT2-R+4WD class.
