Tio Ellinas

Eftihios "Tio" Ellinas, born on January 27, 1992, is a Cypriot racing driver with a career spanning karting to Formula Renault 3.5 and Porsche Supercup. Ellinas began karting at age seven, achieving significant success early on, winning over 100 races and 10 karting championships in Cyprus between 2003 and 2009, including the ROK Cup International Final in 2005. His transition to car racing saw him win the Grand Prix Shootout in the UK in 2009, demonstrating his talent against 50 other young drivers.

In 2010, Ellinas entered the MSA Dunlop Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain with JTR, where he secured three wins and finished fourth overall, earning the "Rookie of the Year" award. The following year, he raced in the UK Formula Renault 2.0 Championship, finishing third. Progressing through the ranks, Ellinas joined Marussia Manor Racing in the 2012 GP3 Series, achieving one win and one podium finish. 2013 was a landmark year, as Ellinas had the opportunity to test for the Marussia F1 Team, marking a historic moment as the first Cypriot to drive a Formula 1 car.

Since 2017, Ellinas has focused on Porsche racing, joining the Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain. In 2018, he won the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, showcasing his adaptability and skill in different racing disciplines. He has also participated in the Porsche Supercup, with strong performances including two podium finishes in 2019 and currently races with Redline Racing.
