Timothy Bridgman

Timothy James Bridgman, born on May 24, 1985, is a British race car driver hailing from England. Bridgman began his motorsport journey relatively late, starting with karting in 2001 before quickly obtaining his racing license and entering the Zip Formula Series in 2002. He demonstrated early talent by winning the Zip Formula championship in 2003. This success propelled him into Formula BMW UK, where he clinched the inaugural championship title in 2004 with three wins and a total of 230 points. That same year, he earned a nomination for the prestigious McLaren Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year award and was recognized as a BRDC Rising Star.

Bridgman's career progressed through various racing series, including British Formula 3, where he raced for Hitech GP in 2005. He then ventured to the United States in 2006, competing in the Champ Car Formula Atlantic series for Jensen Motorsport. In 2007, he returned to the UK and secured another championship title, winning the Formula Palmer Audi Championship. His versatility is evident in his participation in diverse racing categories, from single-seaters to GT racing.

In 2008, Bridgman joined the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, ultimately winning the championship in 2009 after a close battle with James Sutton and Tim Harvey. This achievement led him to the Porsche Supercup series in 2010. He continued to race in the British GT Championship in 2011 with Trackspeed, securing a race win at Brands Hatch. More recently, Bridgman participated in the Blancpain GT Series Asia in 2017 and the British GT Championship in 2020.
