Thomas Rackl

Thomas Rackl, born on December 28, 2007, is a young and promising German racing driver hailing from Bavaria. His passion for motorsport ignited early, with his first word reportedly being "car." Influenced by his father, a former motorcycle racer, Thomas began his racing journey on a motocross bike at the age of three. However, his focus shifted to karting in 2015 after experiencing it for the first time in Wackersdorf.

Rackl quickly progressed through the karting ranks, starting in the Raket Rookie and Mini 60 classes before achieving multiple victories in the OK Junior class. In 2022, he transitioned to the KZ2 class, consistently improving his performance and establishing himself in the motorsport scene. The 2023 season marked his final year in karting, highlighted by numerous wins and runner-up titles in both the German national and international karting championships.

In 2024, Rackl took a significant step into GT4 Germany, a highly competitive GT4 series. Driving for ME-Motorsport alongside Andreas Jochimsen, he secured 9th place in the Junior classification and 13th overall, standing out as the youngest participant. As of 2025, he continues to compete in GT4 Germany with ME-Motorsport, now partnered with Linus Hahne, and is supported by Motorsportteam Germany and the ADAC Stiftung Sport. Outside of racing, Rackl enjoys working on classic cars and maintains a rigorous fitness regime, encompassing road cycling, mountain biking, running, strength training, and swimming, all in pursuit of his dream of becoming a full-time racing driver.
